History of the Tauchpanzer 3

The Panzerkampfwagen III was a German tank that was the standard model in every Panzer division during World War II. The H version was used from 1940 and was known for its additional armor. The model got the name "Tauchpanzer" from the fact that the Panzerkampfwagen III was used for some experiments in the water. However, there is hardly any documentation of this.

Controls and functions

This model of the Tauchpanzer III of is made in 1:16 scale. There are 2 powerful motors installed, which can develop their performance even in difficult terrain. The improved gear ratio allows the tank to be moved precisely and powerfully. It also enables a continuous increase and reduction of the driving speed. Of course, the submersible tank can be easily scaled in any direction of travel. Accordingly, a left or right rotation on the spot is also possible. At the same time, the gun barrel can also be raised and lowered smoothly while driving and the turret can be rotated by a total of 320 degrees if necessary.

Particularly noteworthy is the smoke module, which uses smoke liquid, which allows exhaust-like smoke to smoke from the two exhaust pipes of the model.

A tank would probably not be a tank without its firing function. For this reason, Heng Long has given the model a shooting module, which allows the driver to shoot BB bullets while driving.

All functions and settings can be made in this version via the remote control, in which the latest 2.4 GHz board technology is installed. Therefore, in contrast to the 27 GHz technology of the predecessors, where only 3 drivers could drive at the same time, a large number of tanks can drive in parallel without signal interference.

The 1:16 model of the Tauchpanzer III, which has dimensions of approx. 34x18x15cm (LxWxH), does not differ in any way from its big brother. All attachments, molds and equipment have been modeled on the original in the best possible way.
